The best way to use honey is to melt it or put it on a slice of bread. It is certainly better than jam and chocolate cream by which the kids are so obsessed However, what should be noted, is the fact that honey contains approximately the same value of calories as cane-sugar. This is why it should be avoided by diabetics.
The experts recommend light honey, such as meadow honey and acacia honey for the kids and young people, while they do not recommend dark pine honey to the youngsters.
